Stainless Steel Cutting Board with Lip - Over-Sink Chopping Board for Countertop

A brushed stainless steel cutting board with a raised lip along one edge. The lip hooks over the front of your counter or sits across the sink, so the board stays put while you work and juices run back onto the board instead of onto the floor.

Why steel instead of wood or plastic

• Nothing soaks in. Steel is non-porous, so garlic, onion, raw meat and beetroot leave nothing behind. Rinse it and it is clean.
• It will not warp, crack or splinter. No oiling, no seasoning, no end-of-life.
• Rolled, smooth edges. The rim is turned rather than cut, so there is no sharp edge to catch a hand on.
• Dishwasher safe, and light enough to lift one-handed.
• Doubles as a pastry surface. The cold steel is good for rolling dough, pasta and pizza bases.

Measure your sink or counter run before choosing. The lip adds a little to the depth.

Care

Rinse after use or put it in the dishwasher. Dry it if your water is hard, to avoid spotting. A non-abrasive cream will take out any dullness. Do not use it as a trivet for a pan straight off the heat.
